On Faloria you can use a special skinning tool on some killed creatures corpse. To use the knife, simply right click it and then left click on the monster you wish to skin.
Different knifes will yield different results. The most rare and expensive skins can only be retrieved by using the Upgraded Skinning Knife.
The use of the skins vary greatly. Some can be used for Outfits while others may serve a different purpose.
Simple Skinning Knife 
The first Simple Skinning Knife can be bought from NPC Kent for 5000 gold coins.
Skinning Knife 
The Skinning Knife can be exchanged for 100 Minotaur Leather at NPC Kent.
Upgraded Skinning Knife 
The Upgraded Skinning Knife can be exchanged for 50 Bonebeast Tail, 50 Fire Devil Tail, 50 Crystal Spider Leg at NPC Kent.
