Weekly Tasks Guide

Weekly Tasks are a weekly activity that rewards you for regular hunting and item gathering. Every completed task gives experience and Hunting Tokens, and those tokens can be spent in the Weekly Task Shop.

In simple terms:

  • Choose a difficulty tier for the week
  • Complete your kill tasks and delivery tasks
  • Claim your rewards
  • Spend your Hunting Tokens in the shop

Getting Started

At the start of a new weekly cycle, you choose a difficulty tier. After that, you receive:

  • 6 kill tasks
  • 6 delivery tasks

Kill tasks ask you to defeat specific monsters. Delivery tasks ask you to hand in specific items.

Once generated, your tasks stay the same for that week.

Recommended Difficulty by Level

A good player-friendly rule of thumb is:

Recommended Tier Suggested Level Range
Novice Level 1-40
Beginner Level 40-120
Adept Level 120-250
Expert Level 250+

This is not a hard requirement, but it is a good way to choose a tier you can realistically finish.

Reward Caps by Tier

Weekly Task experience rewards use your level, but lower tiers have a level cap for reward calculation.

Tier Reward level cap
Novice Level 50
Beginner Level 100
Adept Level 250
Expert No cap

This means:

  • If you do Novice tasks above level 50, the game still calculates your reward as if you were level 50.
  • If you do Beginner tasks above level 100, the reward is calculated as level 100.
  • If you do Adept tasks above level 250, the reward is calculated as level 250.
  • Expert has no cap and always uses your real level.

How Experience Rewards Work

This is the most important thing to understand:

  • Kill tasks and delivery tasks both give a static experience reward per completed task.
  • That reward is based on your effective reward level.
  • Your effective reward level is your real level, unless the chosen tier has a lower cap.

So the reward is not based on the monster, not based on the item, and not based on the task size. It is based on:

  • your chosen weekly tier
  • your effective reward level for that tier

Examples

Here are some example rewards for one completed task:

Character Level Tier Used Effective Reward Level Experience per completed task
Level 20 Novice 20 5,676
Level 40 Novice 40 24,486
Level 80 Novice 50 38,841
Level 80 Beginner 80 101,706
Level 120 Beginner 100 160,116
Level 180 Adept 180 358,920
Level 300 Adept 250 498,500
Level 300 Expert 300 598,200

This shows why difficulty choice matters a lot. For example:

  • A level 80 player doing Novice only gets reward as if level 50.
  • The same player doing Beginner gets reward based on their true level 80.
  • A level 300 player doing Adept is capped at level 250 reward.
  • A level 300 player doing Expert gets full level 300 reward.

Hunting Token Rewards

Each completed task also gives Hunting Tokens. The amount depends entirely on the tier:

Tier Hunting Tokens per completed task
Novice 10
Beginner 25
Adept 50
Expert 75

Kill Tasks

Kill tasks work like this:

  • Hunt the required creature
  • Reach the target amount
  • Claim the reward in the Weekly Task interface

Important: Kill task rewards are not automatic. After reaching the target, you must still claim the task reward yourself.

If you are in a party with shared experience active and enabled, kill progress is shared. This makes kill tasks much easier to finish together.

Delivery Tasks

Delivery tasks ask you to bring the required items.

When you complete one:

  • the items are removed
  • the reward is granted immediately

Delivery tasks are often easiest if you already save creature products, loot, or materials during your normal hunts.

Weekly Task Shop

Hunting Tokens can be spent in the Weekly Task Shop. The shop currently contains rewards such as:

Unlocking More Task Slots

You can unlock extra weekly task slots:

This increases your weekly total from:

  • 6 to 9 kill tasks
  • 6 to 9 delivery tasks
